Operating under Dawson Veterinary Clinic, Inuvik Vet Clinic services residents of the Beaufort Delta, Northwest Territories, Canada.
Several times a year Dr John Overell DMV visits Inuvik to hold clinics, providing vaccines, medication and surgeries to animals of the Beaufort Delta. When at his home clinic in Dawson City, Yukon, he is available for tele-medicine, providing veterinary advice and prescribing medication, which can be picked up in Inuvik or mailed to other communities. Dr John Overell graduated from the University of Guelph's Ontario Veterinary College in 1998 with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and moved to Dawson City Yukon to set up his own practice. He has been providing mobile clinics in Inuvik since 2000. He also provides clinics in Mayo and Old Crow. |

PAST COORDINATOR Kaytlin Cooper has lived in Inuvik since December 2014 and worked for the vet clinic for 4 1/2 years. While a full time biologist, Kaytlin coordinated vet clinics, took appointments, dispensed medication, and collected payments. She also served as a volunteer Board member for the Inuvik Community Greenhouse and Arctic Paws. |
